This Tuesday, the 17th of Feb., is when the FCC originally mandated that all companies switch over to digital broadcasting. They changed their minds... Anyways, some companies have the option of shutting down on the 17th and switching to digital, or they have the choice of waiting until july when it is Mandated. Here is a list, for all major cities in Ohio, of who is switching over on the 17th and who is staying...
Please let me know if you have information on non-major stations, as I can then add them to this list. If your city is not listed, please ask me and I will get the information for you.
FYI, you might not have your city listed, but it you are serviced by another city or are within their greater area use their listing...

Doesn't it seem odd to you that the public television station here in Toledo would be the only one to decide to switch over knowing a good number of the public won't be able to watch them anymore?
I was surprised they would do that...
Not really, what I have heard is that across the country most PBS are switching early. I had heard that the ones in columbus were but the FCC didn't mention them so yeah
Say your station has only a limited funding, and you know you need to get a new antenna in two years (well, they have known for about 10) and so you can either get the new one or repair the old one. That is why most PBS' are changing sooner, they never invested in keeping the old one as they couldn't
Happy Valentine's Day.
Dayton switching all of their stations made the news up here.
@sedona
who are you exactly
@Lisa
The FCC is actually fighting with the stations now about that
hmmm, it looks like the FCC might be making one of the Dayton stations stay live. Frankly, I think this whole delay is bullshit
also, it effects only 5.8 million (5.1%) of US Citizens, we shouldn't be delaying because of them
